Rendezvous mit Gitte Volume 6, Part II

Gitte Weise Galerie is pleased to announce part 2 of the sixth volume in the ongoing ‘compilation’ series, Rendezvous mit Gitte. This new mix extols pleasure, irony, wit and earnestness, essential for a piquant view of contemporary art. An exposition of variance within
a re-occurrence, Rendezvous mit Gitte is less a theme and more an action. If history is a volume presumed unbroken (indeed - unbreakable, un-ended and even un-begun), a group show such as this one will be both glossary of what-was-had and an index of what-might-be.
The gallery with all its accompanying relationships offers itself and its products as a rarefied forum for scrutiny and imagination, a synthetic space for same such activities, which are sorely needed in the world at large.

Rendezvous mit Gitte Volume 6, Teil 2

Gitte Weise Galerie kuendigt im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe Rendezvous mit Gitte, den 2. Teil der sechsten Ausgabe an und freut sich auf Ihren Besuch.
Fuer dieses Rendezvous haben die Galeristen, die Kuenstler und ihr Netzwerk wieder Arbeiten und Ideen gesichtet. Sie erwartet eine Ausstellung von Widerspruechen und Geschichte(n), die
in den Kunstwerken als ungebrochene Serie, als staendiges Lebensprinzip oder gar nie Begonnenes und Ertragenes dargestellt werden.
Die Gruppenausstellung weist damit in Vergangenes und auf Zukuenftiges.
Das geschieht mit Vergnuegen, Ironie, aber auch Ernsthaftigkeit, die essentiell fuer die Betrachtung zeitgenoessischer Kunst sind. Die Ausgabe von Rendezvous mit Gitte ist weniger ein Thema als eine offene Aktivitaet - wir freuen uns, sie dazu begruessen zu duerfen.
